Family:  Gobiesocidae (Clingfishes and singleslits), subfamily: Diademichthyinae
Max. size:  4.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 5 - 25 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: widespread in tropical waters.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-11; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 8-9. Reddish brown with 2 bright yellow lines.
Biology:  Lives on the crinoidsLamprometra klunzingeri and Capillaster multiradiata and feeds on the pinnulae of its hosts (Ref. 33548). Often swims about openly when feeding or simply moving about where there are a lot of crinoids (Ref. 48635).
