Max. size:  10 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: French Guiana.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Abundant in the upper reaches of rivers. Frequently occurs in counter current zones or in calm zones of cascades and creeks with sandy bottoms (Ref. 12225).
