Max. size:  6.4 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Tomales Bay in northern California, USA to southern Baja California in Mexico, including the Gulf of California.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in mudflats and shallow bays. Oviparous (Ref. 56079). Males guard the eggs which are found attached to the walls of burrows (Ref. 56079).

Threat to humans:  harmless
