Max. size:  5.7 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: known only from 2 specimens collected 22.5 km north of Malindi, Kenya.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 1-1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 57-58; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 45-46; Vertebrae: 63-64. No scales on cheek and nape. A median pore posterior to posterior interorbital pore; at least with 11 suborbital pores; 9 preopercular pores. A dark spot above pectoral fin.
