Distribution:  Africa: Cameroon.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in swamps and swampy parts of brooks in the humid coastal rainforest (Ref. 3788). Bottom spawner, 2 months incubation. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139). Omnivorous and egg-layer (Ref. 31267).
