Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: between Enugu and Onitsha, southeastern Nigeria.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in swamps and swampy parts of small streams in the savanna (Ref. 3788). 5 cm max SL (Ref. 7372). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
