Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 7 - 7.80000019073486; dH range: 3 - 5, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: southeastern Guinea and northern Liberia, upper Niger River basin.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in brooks (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 28 January 2020 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
