Max. size:  13.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Central America: Atlantic slope of Costa Rica (Sixaola River).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Prefers moderate to fast flowing rivers between 40 and 60 m elevation. Feeds on aquatic insects and detritus (Ref. 36880).
