Max. size:  34.6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 5 - 25 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Seribu Islands, Indonesia and Similan islands, Thailand.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits clear shallow seaward reefs, in areas with high coral cover (Ref. 9710).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 16 September 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
