Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: California, USA to Baja California, Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Common species found near the bottom, often in caves and crevices of exposed coasts and open bays (Ref. 9118). Feeds on crabs (Ref. 9118).
