Family:  Chaenopsidae (Pike-, tube- and flagblennies)
Max. size:  7.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 4 - 30 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Costa Rica to Colombia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits worm tubes on sand-rubble bottoms. Feeds on zooplankton (Ref. 11482). Minimum depth from Ref. 58018.
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 25 May 2007 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
