Family:  Microdesmidae (Wormfishes), subfamily: Microdesminae
Max. size:  7.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 0 - 1 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Costa Rica to Colombia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits shallow rocky coasts, including tide pools. Feeds on zooplankton and tiny benthic crustaceans.
