Family:  Callionymidae (Dragonets)
Max. size:  13 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 3 - 37 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Philippines, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia (Ref. 48636).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in small groups in sandy estuaries (Ref. 48636) and also in sand bottoms to 37 m deep (Ref. 90102). Females much smaller in size (Ref. 48636). Minimum depth of 3 m reported from Ref. 48636.
