Family:  Anthiadidae (Fairy basslets or Streamer basses)
Max. size:  25 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 180 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: endemic to southern Australia, from southern Western Australia to Victoria, including Tasmania.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A schooling species found over rocky reefs (Ref. 9563).
