Environment:  demersal; freshwater; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: east coast of India, Bangladesh (Ref. 1479), Myanmar, Malay Archipelago (Ref. 4833), and China (Ref. 33837).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in estuaries and tidal rivers (Ref. 4833). Also found in freshwater rivers (Ref. 1479).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 03 August 2010 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
