Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
Max. size:  8 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; brackish; marine, amphidromous
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Gulf of Thailand to Viet Nam. Recorded from the Mekong delta and may possibly occur in the tidal zone as far upstream as Cambodia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found along coastlines, bays and estuaries. Known to occur in brackish water and may also be found in freshwater. Feed on small fishes and invertebrates. Not seen in the markets (Ref. 12693).
