Environment:  pelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Central America: Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in rivers (Ref. 6858). Feeds on terrestrial and aquatic insects as well as algae (Ref. 6858).
