Max. size:  13 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: southern part of the Caribbean. Coasts of Central and South America (Ref. 26938).
Diagnosis:  Anal soft rays: 22-26
Biology:  Found over sandy bottoms. Feeds on zooplankton.

Threat to humans:  harmless
