Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Southwest Pacific: New South Wales to Western Port, Australia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-9; Anal soft rays: 6-8
Biology:  Secretive, occurring under rocks, often behind sea urchins.
