Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range - 18 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Comoros; Indonesia east to Palau and Fiji, south to Papua New Guinea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 8-8; Vertebrae: 24-24. Lacking bars, stripes, or other markings on the fins, scales and body (Ref. 46206). Light orange-pink body, slightly translucent, tip of jaw pale red, fin rays pink with membranes clear (Ref. 46206).
