Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  4.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 6.5; dH range: 1, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: Restricted to the Kaké river drainage in the area around Mount Cameroon.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in swampy parts of brooks and small streams in the rainforest, mainly on volcanic soil (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
