Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: upper Ivindo River (Ref. 47461, 80395) in Gabon and Republic of the Congo (Ref. 47461), eastwards to the middle Congo River tributaries Dja-Sangha in Cameroon and possibly the Likouala in Republic of the Congo (Ref. 80395).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in brooks in the rainforest (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 16 February 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
