Distribution:  Africa: upper Benue (Niger basin), upper Logone (Chad basin)(Ref. 80395), Sanaga basin and Mambere (middle Congo River basin) in Nigeria, Cameroon and Central African Republic (Ref. 47461, 80395). Also in the Ouham in Central African Republic (map in Ref. 47461).
