| Found in midwater to bottom levels in small rivers, canals, ponds and reservoirs (Ref. 12693). Occurs in medium to large-sized rivers (Ref. 12975). Moves out into flooded forest during high-water season. Diet consists mainly of insects with some aquatic macrophytes. Used to make prahoc. (Ref. 12693). |
