Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: Gulf coast drainages of the Florida panhandle and southern Alabama, USA from the Perdido River east to the Apalachicola River system.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits sandy runs of small to medium rivers (Ref. 5723).
