Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range - 1 m
Distribution:  Asia: Somjin and Nakdong River, South Korea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-8; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 8-8; Vertebrae: 37-40. Nuptial color of males greenish with a dark green stripe from upper rear edge of gill opening to middle of caudal fin base, anal fin with red band submarginally and dark ventral fin without marginal white band (Ref. 42959).
Biology:  Found in rocky bottom of fast-flowing streams (Ref. 42957). Feeds on algae (Ref. 42957).
