Ecology of Trichomycterus nigroauratus

Remarks Juveniles and adults were observed and collected swimming actively during daylight, usually in still water pools, close to the bottomon the litter, never in places with higher current velocities. Specimens collected between 20 and 150cm depth, in pools in clearwater streams with fast flowing water and sandy and gravel substrate (Ref. 79612).
