ข้อสังเกต Inhabits offshore surface waters but is particularly abundant around islands. Probably the most common needlefish of reef flats, lagoons and bays where it occurs in groups of a few to several dozen. Carnivorous, feeding mainly on small fishes; marketed fresh.
