The disease also occurred in the localities of Chiapas: Cedros, Lacanjá; Quintana Roo: Bacalar, Box Toro, Laguna Ocón, Mahahual, Ramonal, Rancho Don Milo, Raudales, Villa Hermoso; Tabasco: Yucateco; Yucatán: Celestún (laguna), Chaamac, Chek-há, Noc-choncunchey, Río Logartos.
