Remarks: Infection commonly occurs in the gills, fins, viscera, and rarely in the mesenteries. The disease also occurred in the localities of Campeche: Rancho II, Santa Gertrudis, Zoh Laguna; Quintana Roo: Box-Toro, Cenote Azul (Bacalar), Mahahual, Noh-Bek, Ramonal, Raudales, Rio Hondo; Tabasco: Camellones Chontales, Cuauhémoc, El Guerrero, Yumká; Yucatán: Baldiosera (Celestún), Chen-há, Chelém, Chek-há, Dzonot Cervera, Hodz-ob, Kanah, Mitza, Noc-choncunchey, Progreso, Río Logartos, Zaci.
