Dorsal soft rays (total): 11; Anal soft rays: 8. Processus dentiformis present; 8+7 branched caudal rays; 7 1/2 branched dorsal rays; males with a suborbital flap; 35 pores along lateral line which reaches pelvic fin origin; no axillary pelvic lobe (Ref. 39226).
