Comments: Type locality, east of Terrigal, New South Wales, CSIRO H 950-01 (holotype of Dipturus grahami, 61.9 cm TL, adult male). Known from Eastern Australia, from northeast of Moreton Bay, Queensland (26°31′ S, 153°48′ E), southward to at least Bermagui, New South Wales (36°15′ S, 150°22′ E); observed, but not collected from Eden, New South Wales (Ref. 75648).

A demersal species most commonly found on continental slope. Biology poorly known (Ref. 114953). No observed adolescent males, but with undeveloped claspers at 46.8 cm TL; adult males from 54.5- 62.2 cm TL, and smallest confirmed juvenile 18.3 cm TL (Ref. 75648).
