Comments: Type locality, off Cape Capricorn, S Queensland, AM E.2945 (holotype of Paracentropogon scorpio). Known from Bonaparte Arch., W.A. to Cape Capricorn, Queensland (Ref. 7300, 75154). Museum: UMMZ 212292 (TGT3245) (Ref. 5978). Range extends to Arafura Sea (Ref. 3131). Also Ref. 39597.
