| Remarks | Occurs in schools along the outer reef slope. Local fishers say that great seasonal variations in abundance exists. Large numbers are seen at Ngeremlengui beginning December, around Babeldaob beginning August, and near Pelilau beginning March. Judging the condition of the gonads, fishers say that spawning occurs around the new and full moons (Ref. 10494). Also Ref. 100752. |
