Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal soft rays: 7-8. Characterized by the following: lateral line scales 42-45; predorsal scales 17-25; circumpeduncular scales >14; A branched 7-8; body with 13-16 vertical bars, extending to the lateral line; edge of dorsal-fin black (Ref. 121827).
